Privacy Policy

Last updated July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jettr Travel ("Jettr," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website or use our travel recommendation and itinerary-generation service (the "Service"). It applies to visitors, registered users, and anyone who otherwise interacts with the Service. By using Jettr, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Scope & Who This Policy Covers

This Policy covers information collected through the Jettr website and application, including account creation, the destination question flow, saved destinations, generated itineraries, and related support communications. It does not cover the practices of third-party Travel Providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators) or other third-party websites you may reach through links in our Service; please review their own privacy policies separately.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, date of birth, phone number, and password (if you register directly), or your Google account identifier and profile details (if you sign in with Google).
  • Travel preferences & inputs: answers you provide in the question flow (e.g., budget, travel style, interests, dates), which we use to generate recommendations and itineraries.
  • Saved content: destinations you save, itineraries you generate or bookmark, and any notes or edits you make to them.
  • Usage & device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, referring URLs, and general usage patterns, collected automatically through standard web logging and analytics.
  • Communications: messages you send us for support, along with any information you choose to include in them.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account and authenticate your sign-ins;
  • Generate AI-powered destination recommendations and itineraries tailored to your stated preferences;
  • Save, display, and manage your saved destinations and trips;
  • Operate, secure, monitor, and improve the Service, including rate limiting and abuse prevention;
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use your travel preferences or personal information for purposes unrelated to operating and improving Jettr without your consent.

4. AI Processing Disclosure

When you use the question flow or request an itinerary, the preferences and inputs you provide are sent to our AI provider (listed in the sub-processor table below) to generate destination recommendations and day-by-day itineraries. These inputs are transmitted server-side over encrypted connections and are used solely to produce the AI output returned to you. We do not send full account credentials or payment information to this provider. It processes this data under its own privacy policy, linked below, and we do not control how it further retains data beyond the terms of our agreement with them.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share information only as described below, with service providers ("sub-processors") who help us operate the Service, each bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jettr, our users, or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (subject to standard confidentiality protections and notice to affected users where required).

6. Cookies & Tracking

Jettr uses HubSpot for CRM, lead tracking, and page-view analytics, as described in the sub-processor table above. HubSpot sets the following cookies to recognize your browser and record visitor and session analytics: hubspotutk (visitor identification), __hstc (main visitor/session tracking), __hssc (session tracking), and __hssrc (session start tracking).

These HubSpot cookies are non-essential and are set only after you accept them through the cookie banner shown on your first visit to Jettr. If you reject or dismiss the banner without accepting, these cookies are not set, and no HubSpot analytics tracking occurs in your browser. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer; if you previously accepted and later withdraw consent, any HubSpot cookies already set in your browser are cleared.

Separately, Jettr uses essential cookies and browser storage that are required to operate the Service and are not subject to the cookie banner, including HTTP-only cookies used to keep you signed in and maintain your session, and cookies used for OAuth sign-in and rate-limiting/abuse prevention. These essential cookies are always active and cannot be disabled through Cookie Settings, because the Service cannot function without them.

7. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

Jettr does not sell your personal information, and has not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months, as "sale" is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information, saved destinations, and itineraries for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Rate-limit event logs are retained only as long as needed to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time as described in Section 9.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account information directly in your profile settings, or contact us at info.jettr@gmail.com to exercise these rights. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. GDPR Rights (EEA / UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Our legal bases for processing include performance of a contract (providing the Service you request), consent, legitimate interests (e.g., securing the Service and preventing abuse), and compliance with legal obligations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

11. CCPA / CPRA Rights (California Users)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not engage in either, as stated in Section 7); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may submit a request by emailing info.jettr@gmail.com. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to identity verification.

12. Children's Privacy

Jettr is not directed to children, and you must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use Jettr. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these age thresholds. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of this Policy, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info.jettr@gmail.com.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, HTTP-only cookies for authentication tokens, and rate limiting to prevent abuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

14. International Data Transfers

Jettr and its service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries that may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect personal data transferred internationally.

15. Changes to This Policy & Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, we will provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

If you have questions, requests, or concerns about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact us at info.jettr@gmail.com.
